I was transported back, back to an era filled with glitz and glam, spontaneous parties, and overflowing boos. It goes without saying that I am referring to the Roaring ’20s, the Flapper Era, the Jazz Age. An age of uncharacteristic enthusiasm and optimism.
The movie, the Great Gatsby was overflowing with decadent jewelry and one of a kind ensembles. The Tiffany headpieces, the rings, the necklaces – even if the film’s storyline does not interest you at all, The Great Gatsby is worth seeing for the beautiful clothes. This was a magical era, and a movie the captures it to the fullest.
Please follow and come back for another daily dose of fashion.

And now for my review of The Great Gatsby. It is a movie worth seeing and not just for the fantastic and complex storyline, but for the filmography, character development, and of course, the clothes. Despite the long duration, the film accurately depicted the novel, showing their true conflicts and desires. The actors were more then superb and were the perfect choice for their respective roles. For those who have seen Moulin Rouge, this film has a similar feel in the unique filming style and graphic design. The Great Gatsby has made it on to my list of favorite films.
